What a real little gem! We found the festival by chance and booked immediately since Blowzabella were there! Beautiful weather, great music, lovely people and a chocolate box village to boot! The 'open gardens' were a fantastic idea and the hosts so welcoming. Highlights for us were the Melodian workshop with Andy Cutting and of course the Saturday night dance with the fantastic Blowzabella. A real magical weekend and well worth the travel. Big thanks to all.

We had a brilliant time!We went to various events on all three days. The highlight for us was Saturday's concert. It was a perfect evening with breathtaking musiscians ( 3 different groups - and kids only a £5!), a stunning setting and sunshine thrown in for free. Learning (or attempting) how to folk dance was a brilliant, new experience and the floor was packed as soon as Blowzabella started. The kids report highlights as " the open mic on Sunday and Saturday evening, especially Killbillies". Finally, well done to Testbourne who were excellent. We felt so lucky to experience live music on our doorstop - a 3 day experience for less than a family ticket to a theme park.
Excuse duplication as I have already tried to add this to the guest book a few times!

Obviously all a huge success but we didn't get to very much as hectic weekend (people collecting the 12 Springer Spaniel puppies!!) Enjoyed Balshazzar's Feast and Vaughan Williams and grandchildren weere very taken with James Carter. Lots of congratulations to Mary and her team.

From a performer's viewpoint, it all ran amazingly smoothly (always a sign of lots of hard work in the background). There seemed to be a lovely atmosphere - as someone once said of Bracknell Folk Festival, it was "a glorious musical picnic"

Well done Mary and crew, alot of hard work I know, but worth it as from what I saw it was a successful weekend. I have to say as a family we found it too pricey and would have preferred an inclusive weekend ticket. However the free stuff was great!! in particular busking in the garden what a great idea, I might pinch that one!! Just a shame the places had all gone by the time we applied, never mind will look out for it next time, or maybe you will extend your open mic stage for over 25's!
Anyway well done!!

Attracted by the folk music workshops we arranged to park in the farmer’s field. The camping was fine as we have all our own facilities. The workshops with Paul James and Dave Shepherd were excellent and had good ‘carry away’ value in the form of sheet music and learning. We attended ticketed and free performances which covered a wide range of musical genres and enjoyed them all. From our friendly welcome on Friday to the sunny Sunday we had a good time. The festival was great for visitors and villagers alike. Congratulations to Mary and the TV Team.

Well done Mary, and all those who helped to run this great festival. The organisation and the setting were wonderful, and we enjoyed the lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Also the sound guys did a great job, having been thrown in at the deep end with rather an unusual band!

My name is Ollie and I provided the technical equipment and crew for the festival.
I would just like to say what a fantasic job Mary and fellow organisers did with the festival.
For a 1st event, I thought everything was very well organised.
The bands loved it, I loved it and most importantly the festival goers loved it. I didn't see one frowning face all weekend!
Thank you for taking such good care of our crew, and I really hope this event happens again.

Well done to all, and especially Mary, for what looked like an incredible musical experience. Nick and I dipped in on Sunday as we had commitments on the other two days but we were very impressed with the enthusiasm of the performers and participants and the great atmosphere. We have had lots of positive comments about Saturday's performances and regret not having been able to attend.

Congratulations to all involved with the Music Festival. The atmosphere during the weekend was fantastic and the standard of music extremely high. There were events that interested all members of our family (and some that we attended together!).
How sad that it was all over so quickly. Looking forward to the next one!
